Introduction to the International Pharmaceutical Exhibition

1.Hosts
The International Pharmaceutical Exhibition under the World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences 2007 67th International Congress of FIP,2007 is co-hosted by FIP and CPA. It is organized by CPA and co-organized Beijing Huitong Xingye Exhibition Co.Ltd.

2.Timeframe
Exhibition period: September 3rd to 2 pm of 6th ,2007
Exhibition preparation period: September 1st to September 2nd ,2007
Exhibition withdrawing period: 2 pm to 9 pm of September 6th ,2007

3.Journal
With booth payment put in place by the kind company concerned, the company will receive as a complementary service an introductory advertising space over the exhibition journal. The contents involved include the detailed means of contact of the company (company name, address, address, postal code, telephone numbers, fax and email addresses ) plus a 200 words or so bilingual company profile (Chinese and English). The format, editing and submission deadline of the journal contributions will be determined by the hosts.

4.Registration
Upon filling in the application forms and submitting them for registration, the exhibitor indicates its acceptance of the relevant terms and conditions of exhibition participation. The exhibition forms are valid only after official seals of both parties are applied.

5.Payment requirements
The exhibitor shall, within two weeks after its application form has been accepted and confirmed by the hosts, deliver a payment of no less than 50 percent of the total exhibition fees as an earnest money. It shall pay the total amount of exhibition fees within the deadline laid out in the payment notice. Exhibitors submitting their applications within two months before the opening of the exhibition shall furnish the total payment once for all within two weeks after its application. Application forms without its earnest money delivered within the deadline shall be regarded as invalid. The hosts shall have the mandate to remove the booths without informing the applying parties under the last scenario.

6.Cancellation of applications or non-participation in the exhibitions
Having submitted their applications, the exhibitors shall not cancel or reduce the booth area. They shall pay the exhibition fees and other expenditures arising from the actual operation as requested by the hosts. Only when the hosts have received a written statement will the request to cancel participation or forgo booths be deemed valid. For requests to withdraw from the exhibition that are filed within one month prior or the exhibition, the total sum of the exhibition fees shall not be refunded.

7.Use of the exhibiting area
1) During the exhibition period, exhibitors shall only distribute publicity materials within their own booths or designated areas. They shall not advertise, publicize or display their commodities, or open for businesses in other areas than the aforementioned ones within the exhibition venue. They shall not place any exhibition item or advertising boards outside their own exhibiting areas.
2) Were the audio-video equipment used by the exhibitors to cause disruption to other people, the hosts have the mandate to ban its use thereof.
3) After the exhibition begins, no exhibition items shall be removed from the exhibition counters except for those approved by the hosts.
4 )The exhibitor shall not attach or paste any sticker , placard, poster or other materials to public facilities such as the walls, floors and columns of the exhibition venue.

8.Notice
Once the booths are distributed, the exhibitors will receive successive notices prior to the exhibition, informing them to make preparation and arrangements for the event. Any consequence arising from a disregard for such notices shall be borne by the exhibitors.

9. Cancellation, postponement of the exhibition and other changes
1)The hosts reserve the right to cancel or postpone the exhibition in the case of force majeure(“force majeure ” refers to all the events that are beyond the control of , or could not be foreseen, avoided or overcome by the hosts, and those that prevent the hosts from performing its obligations. They include earthquakes, typhoons, floods, fires, warfare, epidemics, social unrest or government behavior, etc ), or the mandate/direction by government authorities, or any other unforeseen scenarios. The hosts shall not bear any responsibilities arising thereof under the above situations.
2)The hosts shall have the mandate to make changes to the exhibition venues, timing as well as the booths of the exhibitors in accordance with evolvement of the special circumstances.
3)In the case of the exhibition being cancelled out of reasons arising from the hosts, the hosts will refund all the exhibition fees to the relevant parties.
